Learn how to get the Absa Student Credit Card
Unfortunately, you cannot apply for the Absa Student Credit Card online at Absa’s website.
This is their only credit product that does not allow an online application. To get the card, you’ll have to visit a local Absa branch or an Absa Student bureau.
Before you do, make sure you can qualify and bring all the required documentation along.
To become eligible for the Absa Student Credit Card, you need to be a South African resident with a valid ID and a registered full-time student.
You also need to be between the ages of 18 and 30 with a monthly income equal to or greater than R800.
You’ll have to provide proof of residence and proof of income for the last three months.
