To qualify for the Wells Fargo Reflect® Card, you have to meet certain criteria determined by the bank. A satisfactory credit score above 700 is encouraged for new applicants. A steady annual income will also play in your favor when you apply. Other important factors include being 18+, having a low debt to income ratio, a low housing cost to income ratio, a valid SSN or ITIN and a U.S. mailing address.

Wells Fargo only offers pre-qualification for the Wells Fargo Reflect® Card for its existing customers. If you’re not already banking with them, applying for this credit card will automatically do a hard pull on your credit score. A hard inquiry may cause your rating to drop a few points temporarily.

If you’re a new applicant, you can do a balance transfer while you’re filling out the application form. There’s a specific field to request new BTs, which you should fill out properly and review it before submitting your request. It usually takes around 10 business days to process new BTs, so make sure to continue making payments until it’s completed.

All the application process is done online, so you do not need to go to a Wells Fargo bank branch to apply. But if you still would like to go to a branch and talk to someone, you can visit the Wells Fargo website (www.wellsfargo.com) and click on the “Locations” link at the top of the page. Enter your city and state or ZIP code, and you will see a list of Wells Fargo branches in your area. You can also get in touch with the nearest branch to schedule your Wells Fargo appointment.
