In recent years, several injuries have been associated with challenges that have gone viral on social media and the internet. Unfortunately, the most dangerous game among them is taking people to the hospital.

From the ice bucket challenge to the most recent “Tide pod challenge,” people will do just about anything for a few likes and shares.

While some challenges are harmless fun, some have resulted in serious injury or death.

Beware of these social media games.

They are a product of our society, where instant gratification and a need for likes and shares have taken precedence over common sense and self-preservation.

In recent years, there have been several games that have surfaced on social media and caught the attention of users.

While some of these games are harmless, others can be extremely dangerous and even lead to serious injury. Here are five such dangerous games you should be aware of.

1. Choking Game

The Choking Game is a dangerous game involving cutting off the brain’s oxygen supply through strangulation for a brief high.

Some teens have done this using their hands or a noose alone or in groups. This dangerous game can result in brain damage, seizures, strokes, and even death.

If you or someone you know is involved in the Choking Game, it is important to get help immediately.

There are many resources available to help teens stop playing this dangerous game. If you are a parent, talk to your teens about the dangers of the Choking Game and other dangerous games.

Be sure to monitor your teen’s internet usage and look for signs that they may be playing such games.

Help your teen find healthy outlets for their energy and stress. And most importantly, talk to your teen about the importance of life and how precious it is.

2. Cinnamon Challenge

The Cinnamon Challenge is a dangerous game circulating online for years.

The challenge involves eating a tablespoon of ground cinnamon in 60 seconds without drinking any water.

Many people have attempted the challenge, but only some have been successful. The Cinnamon Challenge is dangerous because cinnamon is a dried spice that can irritate the lungs and esophagus.

Inhaling cinnamon can lead to coughing, wheezing, and difficulty breathing. Swallowing cinnamon can cause burns in the mouth, throat, and stomach.

Despite the dangers, the Cinnamon Challenge continues to be popular, especially among young people.

Anyone considering attempting the challenge should consider the risks before proceeding.

3. Huffing or Dusting

Huffing or dusting is a dangerous new game that has become popular among children.

The premise is simple: children intentionally inhale common household products (such as glue or cans of compressed gas used to clean computer keyboards) to get high.

However, the effects can be dangerous and even deadly. Inhaling these substances can lead to nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and loss of consciousness.

Sometimes, it can also cause brain damage, seizures, and comas.

Even if the child does not suffer serious physical effects, the habit can be difficult to break and lead to lasting psychological problems.

For these reasons, it is important for parents to be aware of this dangerous trend and to talk to their children about the risks involved.

4. Car “Surfing.”

According to the CDC, car surfing is a dangerous activity that has resulted in 99 injuries and deaths in the United States between 1990 and 2008.

Most victims are male and between the ages of 15 and 24. Car surfing typically involves standing or sitting on the roof or hood of a moving vehicle and can result in severe injuries or even death if the individual falls off.

In many cases, alcohol or drugs are involved, which can further increase the risks.

While car surfing may seem like a harmless prank, the reality is that it is a dangerous and potentially deadly activity.

Anyone considering engaging in this behavior should think twice before taking such an unnecessary and foolish risk.

5. Mumblety Peg

Mumblety peg is a game that most likely originated in England. The game was brought to North America by European settlers and quickly became popular among American children.

There are many variations of the game, but the most common involves using a pocket knife to stab between the fingers of one hand.

The object of the game is to do this as quickly as possible. While mumblety peg may seem harmless fun, it is one of the most dangerous games children can play.

Pocket knives are sharp and can cause serious injuries if not used properly. In addition, the speed and excitement of the game can often lead to children taking unnecessary risks.

As a result, mumblety peg is a game that should be avoided.

Communication is important to keep teens safe.

When it comes to keeping your teen safe, one of the most important things you can do is keep the lines of communication open.

This can be difficult, as teens are often reluctant to talk to their parents about their actions and thoughts. However, having these discussions is essential to ensure your teen is safe.

One of the most dangerous games teens can play is the “no tell, no problem” game. In this game, teens avoid telling their parents about risky behaviors to avoid getting in trouble.

However, this only puts them in greater danger, as their parents can’t help them make safe choices if they’re not aware of what’s going on.

If you suspect your teen is playing this game, sit down and discuss the importance of honesty and communication. It may not be easy, but it’s vital to keeping your teen safe.
