Are you bored? If so, you’re at the right place. We’ll give you some fun ideas of things to do when you’re bored. Let’s change the mood!

We’ve all been there. You’re flipping through the channels, and nothing is on TV; you’ve read all your books, and you don’t want to leave the house for fear of running into someone you know.

Well, never fear – we’ve got some ideas for fun things to do when you’re bored! So grab a friend (or go it alone) and get started on one of these activities.

You may even have so much fun that you won’t be bored anymore!

Ideas for fun things to do when you’re bored

There’s nothing worse than feeling bored and stuck at home with nothing to do. If you’re looking for some fun ideas to beat the boredom, here are a few suggestions:

1. Have a picnic in your living room

You can spread a blanket, cook food, and enjoy the great indoors.

It’s the perfect way to relax and have a little fun. And if you don’t have a living room, you can always have a picnic in your bedroom.

Just make sure to clean up afterward. Picnics are supposed to be fun, after all.

2. Have a pillow fight

Just round up some pillows, find a friend (or foes), and let the fun begin. Be sure to duck and cover because you don’t want to get hit by a pillow.

And if you want to get crazy, you can add some rules, like no-holds-barred or everyone-for-themselves.

3. Make a fort out of blankets and pillows.

This is a great way to entertain yourself and pass the time. Plus, it’s perfect for rainy days or days you don’t feel like going outside.

All you need are some blankets, pillows, and some furniture to prop up the blankets.

Then, get creative and make your fort into whatever you want it to be. You could even build a pillow fort city with different rooms for different purposes.

4. Play hide and seek

Hide and seek is a great game to play when you’re bored. Not only is it fun, but it’s also a great way to exercise.

And if you’re feeling adventurous, you can even try hiding in places that are difficult to find.

5. Make homemade pizzas

It’s fun and messy, and you get to eat your works of art when you’re done.

The best part is that there are no rules for making pizzas.

Get creative with your toppings, or stick to the classics. If you’re feeling extra adventurous, try making a dessert pizza. The possibilities are endless!

6. Dance around your living room to your favorite songs

It’s a great way to get some exercise, and it’s guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

Plus, it’s a great way to show off your moves if you’re ever called upon to participate in a flash mob.

So put on your favorite tunes and start boogying down. You might even discover you’re a secret Dancing Queen (or King).

7. Play truth or dare

There’s nothing quite like a game of truth or dare to get the fun started. After all, who doesn’t love a good dose of suspense and laughter?

If you’re feeling more mischievous, opt for a dare that will make your friends laugh. You can dare someone to sing a song in an accent or perform a silly stunt. Be creative – the sky’s the limit!

And, of course, there’s always the option of simply telling the truth. This can be fun, too, especially if you ask embarrassing questions that will get some good laughs.

8. Draw pictures of each other

You can start by drawing a basic outline of the person’s face, then fill in the details like their hair, eyes, nose, and mouth.

Once you’re finished, you can add fun accessories like a hat or glasses. Or, you can go crazy and give them a whole new hairstyle!

9. Do each other’s makeup.

You can start by choosing a look you want to achieve, whether a smoky eye or a bold lip. Then, follow the tutorial step by step.

Seeing how someone else does their makeup is fun, and you might even learn a new technique. Plus, it’s a great way to bond with your friends.

10. Try out new hairstyles.

When it comes to trying out new hairstyles, the possibilities are endless.

Whether you’re looking for a fun way to change your look or simply bored and looking for something to do, experimenting with your hair is always a good option.

And who knows? You might just find your new signature style.

11. Have a fashion show with your clothes

You can put on music, invite some friends over, and strut your stuff down a makeshift runway.

You can even create a theme for the fashion show, like “formal wear” or “beachwear.” And if you want to get creative, you can use household items as props or accessories.

So, ditch the Netflix marathon next time you feel bored and have a fashion show instead.

12. Play a board game

Board games are a great way to spend time with friends or family; they can be a lot of fun.

There are all sorts of different games to choose from, so there’s sure to be one that you’ll enjoy. If you need help deciding what to play, you can always try a classic like Monopoly or Scrabble.

Or, if you’re looking for something more modern, try a game like Settlers of Catan or Ticket to Ride.
