Before you apply for The American Express® Platinum Credit Card, you have to make sure you can qualify for it.

To become eligible, you need a healthy credit score and a monthly income equal to or greater than R62,500. You also need to be at least 18 years old.

In South Africa, The American Express® Platinum Credit Card’s issuer is Nedbank.

So to apply online, you need to access their website and create an account before you begin the process. 

Then, log into your account using your credentials. Next, click on “bank” and “credit cards” on the top menu.

Scroll down, click on “see all cards” and locate the American Express® Platinum. 

Click on “apply online” and fill out the application form with all the required information.

Nedbank will also ask you to provide proof of income and a recent proof of residence before you complete your request.

Once you’re done with the form, submit it for evaluation and wait for a response.

If you’re approved, Nedbank will contact you with an offer detailing your new credit card’s financial information.

You can download Nedbank’s Money App to manage your account and have easy access to your credit card information on-the-go.
