Before you apply for the BankAmericard® Credit Card, make sure you’re eligible for it.

Since Bank of America doesn’t offer a pre-qualification process, applying for this card without meeting its eligibility criteria might affect your credit score negatively.

If you do qualify, applying for the card is a breeze. Access Bank of America’s official website and right on the main page you’ll be able to locate the BankAmericard® Credit Card.

Click on it and begin your application. If you already bank with BofA, logging into your account will speed up the process.

If you don’t, scroll down and begin writing down all the required information. Check all necessary boxes and take a couple of minutes to read the Terms & Conditions.

Next, click on “save and continue”. The bank will evaluate your application and give you a response in as little as 30 seconds.

If you’re approved, Bank of America will relay your offer and you can accept or deny it.

By accepting it, you’ll have to sign an electronic contract and wait for the card to be issued to your address.

Once you get the card, you can activate it online, using the app, or by calling customer service at the number on the back of your card.
