The Chase Freedom Unlimited® Credit Card is harder to get than most credit cards because it requires at least a good credit score (700+). That said, your current rating is not the only determining factor Chase uses for approval. The bank also requires a solid annual income, low debt to income ratio, a number of recently opened accounts, housing payment details and more.

While there’s no annual fee to this card, the Chase Freedom Unlimited® Credit Card charges a few other fees you should be aware of before applying. For starters, there’s a 3% foreign transaction fee. There’s also a 3% balance transfer fee for balances made within the first 60 days of membership (5% after that period). Cash advances 5% fee for each transaction.

By prioritizing your Chase Freedom Unlimited® Credit Card on purchases, you’ll get 5% back on travel-related bookings through Chase Ultimate Rewards, 3% back on restaurants and drug stores and 1.5% unlimited cash back on everything else you purchase with your card.
