No, the Citi® Custom Cash℠ Card is not an easy card to get. Citi requires all new applicants to have a credit score of at least 700 to increase their approval odds. Other key factors that determine your approval odds are your annual income, a low debt to income ratio, low housing to income ratio and other criteria such as being over the age of majority with a valid SSN and a U.S. address.

The Citi® Custom Cash℠ Card doesn’t charge an annual fee, but that doesn’t mean it’s a fee-free credit card. There’s a 3% foreign transaction fee for international purchases, a 5% cash advance fee, and a max late fee up to $41. You’ll also be subject to a variable 28.99% on cash advances and a 29.99% penalty APR if you fail to make your credit card payments.

New cardmembers can easily request a balance transfer and take advantage of the 0% introductory period when completing their online application. Existing members can either request a balance transfer online, via mobile app or by calling customer services at (800) 950-5114.
